Versatility:
The secret of the SmartPlate is its versatility and effectiveness. During film shootings the use of different
tripods, RIGs, cranes, camera dollies and other equipments with non compatible quick release plates might
cause many problems. The quick release plates have to be changed quite often which is uncomfortable and
takes time. The SmartPlate provides an effective solution for these problems. You just have to mount it to the
camera and use it during the entire shooting.

Packing:
In use:
Mount the SmartPlate to the camera with the 1/4” withworth screw. Use the
screwdriver to fasten the camera to the plate.

To close the side panels first press the „RELEASE-button”
2)
While holding the „RELEASE-button” push the „SIDE-panel”. The
SmartPlate will stay closed.
Set the camera/photo stand horizontal and place the SmartPlate into the
head unit. (Please note: always place the SmartPlate horizontally otherwise it
might slip out of the head unit)

Pressing the „OPEN-button” you will activate the SmartPlate. Whit pressing
the „OPEN-button” the side panel will open and match the width of the head
unit.
With the handle of your stand’s head unit you can fix the SmartPlate.
(Please note: Always check that the camera is fixed safely and that it cannot
slip out of the head unit.)
