- So what can developers do now and what are developers doing with Moverio now? Two fold: First there’s the consumer side – the consumer install base for Moverio. Similar to how Amazon, Google and Apple have app stores, we have a Moverio apps market that can be accessed on the smart glasses. From there, users can download and install apps that have been published by developers. So that’s one angle – develop and publish apps for Moverio consumers on MAM. Here we have some example apps including some VR games. One of the most successful apps among consumers so far has been DJI’s drone piloting app. Drone FPV with smart glasses. Originally developed for iOS devices, then modified/optimized for Moverio (i.e. HUD). Actually, the DJI/drone use case has been so big for us that we’ve officially partnered with DJI as their official AR smart glasses partner. And recently, we collaborated on a new AR Flight Simulator app that let’s you fly a virtual DJI Mavic drone in virtual space for training purposes – no risk of crashing.
