AWE TA is an Israeli startup founded in 2017 that has developed a new optical tracking sensor system that can track position and movement with unprecedented speed of 1ms and accuracy of less than 1cm and 1 degree. They have 15 employees, have filed 3 patents, and raised $1.75M to date. Their technology could enable new applications in VR/AR, manufacturing, robotics, and more. They are currently in discussions with many major companies and seeking $5M to further develop their product and expand their teams and marketing activities.

VR Technology Today
Under 10ms: Key Metric for Nausea Avoidance
Sixdof Space added value
Optically compressing the entire room image onto a single line data set reduces a 2D image processing problem into
something more like an audio processing problem

Our Product
We have created a new optical tracking sensor system that represents a
breakthrough in both speed (1 ms) and accuracy (less then 1cm and 1
degree). There are no similar products in the market that can boast this
speed.
Qualcomm, our main competitor, is using a camera based solution which
requires the processing of millions of pixels of image data – significantly
slower.
Our initial market focus is to develop an inside-out, six degrees of
freedom (6DOF) tracking system for the VR market.

What We Do
We have created a new optical tracking system technology that
represents a breakthrough in both speed and accuracy.
Optics + Electronics + Algorithms
= Angular and X-Y-Z position
VR experience requires tracking neck tilts, rotation and the overall position in space – Six Degrees of Freedom or Sixdof

Our Product – In Summary
• Leverages existing room lights, not external beacons.
• Reports actual room position at very high speed.
LOW COST LOW POWER
LOW LATENCY INSTALLATION-FREE

Go To Market
OEM
• Participated in Samsung Runway
program.
• In discussions and under NDA with
most major AR/VR OEMs
• In advanced discussions with
planning pilot project with a major
OEM.
AR / VR
• Received letter of interest from
major AR headset manufacturer.
• In high-level discussion with many
AR headset manufacturers to use
our tracking technology.
• Requested by military and military
contractors to demonstrate our
technology.
Other Industries
• In talks with multi-national
manufacturers – automotive and
others - to bring our technology into
their manufacturing floor.
• Discussions with various multi-
national robotics and drone
companies regarding using our
technology in their products.
8. In 2018, VR/AR headset manufacturers are
targeting 12 million headsets being sold with
a 50% annual growth.
One million service robots & indoor drones
are sold annually with an expected 10%
increase per year.
High-end manufacturing plants. By 2025, we
expect to be seeing $5m annual revenue.
Other fields like shopping centers. By 2025,
we expect to be seeing $5m annual revenue
from this other markets.
By 2025:
