Bike Challenge
The Halton Hills Community Bike Challenge is back
by popular demand for a fourth great year. Last year
over a thousand participants of all ages and abilities
logged 384,000 kms; the distance from the Earth
to the Moon! This year’s goal is 400,000 kms; the
distance from the Moon to the Earth plus a victory
lap of Canada. Once again there is a huge community
reward for reaching this extraordinary goal. Generous
sponsors have pledged a total of $85,000 to the
Georgetown Hospital Foundation but the money
doesn’t flow until the goal is reached. This is a free,
fun event and there is no fundraising by participants.
Log onto www.haltonhillsbikechallenge.ca and create
an account either as an individual or a family, and
then start logging kilometres. Sign up and spread the
word. Every kilometre counts.
