Band analysis

1. The Script is a pop rock group formed in 2001. The style

his face, and that he is looking down. This implies his
music is more important than himself, which links to the
soul genre. Although, the black hair and clothing
contrasts this as it makes him stand out, which links to
the R&B genre.
Eminem is a rap artist. In this photograph a high key
lighting on the black backdrop makes the artist stand out
from the background. He is also looking towards the
camera, making eye contact with the viewer, making him
look tough. The lighting also casts a shadow on one half
of his face making him look like he has a dark side. These
all link to the rap genre.
Olly Murs is a pop artist. This photography links to that
genre. This is shown by the high key lighting and the light
blue backdrop. These light colours links to the family
friendly genre of pop. The artist is looking directly at the
camera and is holding his braces off his shoulders this,
shows that pop music is fun and open palm of his hands
suggests that others are welcome to listen.
