Aside from studying abroad 6 different times during high school and college, I was one of a handful of non-Japanese participants on the Japanese NGO, Peace Boat, where we visited over 20 countries, assisted NGO's in local ports, and had guest lecturers from all over the world educate on current events & cultural topics. I have taught Japanese and Spanish, served as an Academic Advisor for Master's programs for two years, and even spent time in a start-up environment.
