An innovator with strong software engineering skills. Passionate about the practical side of Semantic technologies, in particular for Data Integration and Interoperability, as well as about the Internet of Things future. Creator of the Semantic Agent Programming Language (S-APL) and the DataBearings platform. Received his BSc (1999) and Engineer (2000) degrees in Artificial Intelligence from Kharkov National University of Radio Electronics, Ukraine. Then, received his MSc (2001) and PhD (2006) degrees from the University of Jyväskylä, Finland, with both theses related to mobile and ubiquitous software systems. After the graduation, acted as an Assistant Professor at the University of Jyv.
