2. WHAT IS A.I. ?
Artificial intelligence is “the subfield of
computer science concerned with the concepts
and methods of symbolic inference by
computer and symbolic knowledge
representation for use in making inferences.
Artificial intelligence, or AI, is the ability of a
computer to act like human being. It usually
means a self aware machine.

In 1950, English mathematician Alan
Turing wrote a landmark paper titled “
Computing Machinery and Intelligence”

The potential application of AI are endless. They stretch
from the military for autonomous control and target
identification to the entertainment industry.

5. Robotics:
Robots are able to perform the tasks given by a human. They
have sensors to detect physical data from the real world such
as light, heat, temperature, movement, sound, bump, and
pressure. They have efficient processors, multiple sensors and
huge memory, to exhibit intelligence. They are also capable of
learning from their mistakes and they can adapt to the new
environment.
Speech and Recognition:
Some intelligent systems are capable of
hearing and comprehending the
language in terms of sentences and their
meanings while a human talks to it. It
can handle different accents, slang
words, noise in the background, change

Artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare uses algorithms and software to
approximate human cognition in the analysis of complex medical data.
The primary aim of health-related AI applications is to analyze
relationships between prevention or treatment techniques and patient
outcomes
Military:
In this, a robot soldier have to identify enemies from friends or
bystanders. This robot soldier should be able to make decisions, follow
orders, kill targets and accomplish missions successfully. It will not be
used till they sure that it can do so.

As with every new technological advancement, there are a
few downsides to machine learning technology too. Some
are technical difficulties for engineers, some are moral
dilemmas, and some are threats to our very existence.
Disadvantages of AI:-

 Artificial Intelligence and the technology are one side of the
life that always interest and surprise us with the new ideas,
topics, innovations, products etc. but on another side the
development of artificial intelligence could spell the end of
the human race.
 Somewhere it has capability to speed up the overall
processes and solve all problems but on the other hand it
also has ability to replace humans.
 At the end, we’ve been in this research through the AI
definitions, brief history, applications of AI in public,
applications of AI in military, ethics of AI. This is not the end
of AI, there is more to come from it, who knows what the
AI can do for us in the future, maybe it will be a whole
society of robots.
