SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE
Has had Twenty four(24) in the field of Engineering mainly as Instrument Design Engineer and a
Instrument Lead Engineer. In several occasion, has function as an Interface Person or was involved in
Project Engineering activies.

LDK Solar Project

Was assigned as Control Systems Lead / Project Interface person for LDK – Solar Project. A
workshare vertical split With Fluor-Greenville wherein Manila is responsible for TCS(Tri
chlorosilane) part.
Manila’s scope for engineering includes commodity engineering (Inline and Offline), Technical
Bid evaluation, and purchase requisition. Intools population of instrument tags
Design Scope includes 3D Modelling, Instrument Location Plan and other 2D related
deliverables, Schematics, Schedules, wiring diagrams, Loop Diagrams, Loop folders, and MTO
(Matman). Has supported Main Automation Vendor by executing bot FAT and SAT at MAV
fabrication facility and at site.
Leading a peak manpower of 27, project was able to achieve part of the goal of delivering most of
the engineering deliverables and now focus of completing all deliverables in time.
As the project approaches 60%, I was assigned as the over all interface person for the
Manila portion of the scope ensuring continiuos alignment of all deliverables involve and

Was assigned as Control Systems Lead for United – Yansab project (Yanbu, Saudi Arabia), a
workshare project with Fluor in Camberley, UK. Tasked to execute both Engineering and Detail
Design on the Utilities Part of the project.
Manila’s scope for engineering includes commodity engineering (Inline and Offline), Technical
Bid evaluation, and purchase requisition. Was also involved on PCIMS (Plant Control and
Information Management Systems) as a support for DCS/PLC configuration on FAT (Field
Acceptance test).
Design Scope includes 3D Modelling, Instrument Location Plan and other 2D related
deliverables, Schematics, Schedules, wiring diagrams, Loop Diagrams, Loop folders, and MTO
(Matman).
Leading a peak manpower of 52, project was able to achieve part of the goal of delivering most of
the engineering deliverables and now focus of completing all deliverables in time.

Integrated Isocyanates Project – Huntsman BASF
(2003)
Was assigned as Control Systems Supervisor for IIP-Huntsman Project in Caojing Chemical
Industry Park Shanghai, China. Tasked to do Engineering and Design set-up including Detailed
technical support to the detail design contractors which are Local base chinese design Institute
with 3 office location(China, Korea, and Taiwan), set-up of all database and design application
such as Intools(application and database), Oracle Server, Citrix Server(for worksharing), PDS,
Inline Table for Inline Instruments(Intools to PDS), Material Manager for Instrument
materials(Intools to PDS). Was able to develop several Engineering and Design Specification
such as Instrument Cable Specs, Intools Implementation Procedure, Instrument Air Consumtion
Specification, Instrument signal and loop diagram spec, and Instrument Equipment and Cable
Numbering System Specification. Has acted as the Intools Administrator for the whole project
with a peak of 30 end users. Has provided preparatory engineering and design documents such
Control Systems wiring philosophy, Engineering and Design Specification, Instrument Design
Index, Instrument spec form.
Bayer PC(Polycarbonate) Project
(2001-2003)
Was assigned as Control Systems Engineering and Design lead for Bayer PC Project in Caojing
Chemical Industry Park Caojing Shanghai, China. Tasked to work with Bayer Management side
As Control Systems Lead and a Project Engineer providing Detailed Technical support /
Schedule to the detail design contractor which is a local base Design Institute.
Has provided preparatory engineering design documents such as Control System Wiring
Philosophy, Instrument Junction Box / Air Header Location and DCS System philosophy,
Instrument / IO assignment to Junction box and DCS respectively and Specification.
Continued work on Instrument Specification and Technical/ Engineering communication with
Bayer selected vendor. Providing Intools support by conducting continuos training on Design
Contractor prior to the execution of detail design.

Was assigned as Control Systems Lead Engineer for Bayer PC Extended Engineering Project
located at Caojing Chemical and Industry Park – Caojing Shanghai, China. Leads the group of
Local Design Institute Engineers on completing Instrument Specification of Inline and Offline
Instruments including Technical Bid Analysis of Instrument vendor quotes. Perform Instrument
calculation of Inline instruments such as valves, orifices, and Venturi Tube. Develop preparatory
design documents for bid package such as Instrument, Cable, and Foundation Field Bus
Specification. Instrument Drawing Index, Instrument Hook-up details and typical Assembly,
Instrument Junction Box and Air Header location, Control Room and Instrument Rack Room
equipment arrangement. Works with Electrical on the preliminary cable tray arrangement.
Conducts initial review on PDS model on instrument equipment utilizing Smartplant review
application.
Utilize Intools application (ver 5.2.8.1) providing output documents on Instrument Datasheet,
generic wiring schedule on Junction Box, Marshalling DCS Racks, Foundation Fieldbus
application, segment wiring calculation and Hook-up, and Loop module. Acted as the Intools
administrator and has provided training to the work group including electrical engineering and
design application.
Supervision of Chinese design contractor located at the Shanghai Office and continiuos
communacation with the 2 other located outside china to ensure good quality of delivarables.
INSTRUMENT – DESIGN ENGINEER 3
Hamaca Project
(1999 TO 2001)
Was assigned as a Control Systems Lead Engineer for Hamaca Crude Upgrade Project. An Oil
and Gas - Crude Upgrade to be constructed in Jose, Venezuela. It is a workshare effort between
three offices namely, The Caracas(Jose, Venezuela) which scope covers the Tank Farm. Manila
office which is tasked to worked on the Process and utility Area and the Fluor Daniel – Aliso
Viejo which serves as the main office and the focal point of Engineering. Manila’s scope on the
Process and Utility plant is to built the 2D model utilizing Intergraph – Plant Design
Systems(PDS). Underground layout of Fiber Optic System for Honeywell’s Distributed Control
System(DCS), Fire and Gas Systems(FGS), and Safety on Instrument System(SIS). Above
ground conduit layout of field instruments utilizing the HPM’s, FGS’s, and SIS’s cabinet
strtegically located on different areas on the process area. Such cabinets, will be linked to the
remote input output cabinet located in the Field Interface Cabinet(FIC) with redundant signals on
the remote Input Output cabinet on all substation. Part of the aboveground layout is the Fire and
Gas drawings and will be Develop thru Microstation SE upon extraction from the model.
Included on the scope is the development of Wiring Schedule, point to point loop Diagram,
Instrument Design Index, and Input Output Assignment and all will be done Intools 5.1. Cable
and Conduit Schedule will be done thru Cablapp(Cable Application Software) which are being
shared by the three offices.
As a Area Project Engineering Back Up person, my primary responsibilities is to established
communication and interface with other discipline and office and resolve issues concerning
technical querries which affect the work. Established plan on work sequence and manpower to
cope up with the project schedule and target milestone. Timely monitoring of work progress thru
Control Level Schedule(CLS) in preparation for the Project Status Review which is being done
monthly.

Was assigned Fluor Daniel – Aliso Viejo to established alignment and early engineering in
preparation for the model and production stage in Manila.
INSTRUMENT - DESIGN ENGINEER 2
Irving Oil Upgrade Project
(1997 – 1998)
Was assigned as Lead Engineer for Control System in a work share effort with Fluor Daniel-
Aliso Viejo on Irving Oil Upgrade Project, and oil and Gas upgrade project located at Calgary,
Canada. Manila’s scope mainly on the Process Area and was tasked to built the 2D model
utilizing Intergraph – Plant Design System location all offline instrument in space. Aboveround
Conduit layout of all field instrument to Junction Boxes to include all DCS and shutdown
systems. Instrument Wiring Schedule to include all junction boxes on the field and Marshalling
Boxes in the Control Room and will be develop thru Microstation J.
Was assigned in Fluor Daniel-Aliso Viejo, USA to finalize and agree with the control systems
counterpart the Manila scope of work and also familiarize with the work procedures, standards,
and execution and be applied in Manila. Works primarily on all communication, documentation,
production design and engineering lead responsibilities for the fast completion of the project.
Member of ISO Core Group (ISO 9001, Fluor Daniel Inc.-Philippines) with a task of
disseminating all necessary information’s to all the members of the company with regards to ISO
awareness. Helped the Team on conducting seminars and training on all aspects of standards and
procedure and conducted Internal Audits on various projects of the company.

Exxon Lubes Upgrade Project
(1996 – 1997)
Was assigned as Lead Engineer for Control Systems on a work share effort with Fluor Daniel
Houston in Exxon Lubes Upgrade Project located at Baytown Texas, USA. Scope include Inline
and Offline building of Instruments utilizing Intergraph PDS – Equipment model. Aboveground
conduit layout of field instruments to include all Junction Boxes, Marshalling racks, vendor
provide instrument skids, Instrument wiring drawings and utilized the use of Microstation
SE.Was sent to Fluor Daniel in Houston to help partly the Engineering team on it's preliminary
works such as the model setup, preliminary Inline model setup and instrument design index setup
and be able to familiarize on how the job will be executed using the client’s (Exxon) Standards.
Works Primarily on all communication, Documentation, Design and Engineering lead
responsibilities for the fast completion of the task.
INSTRUMENT - DESIGN SUPERVISOR
Procter and Gamble
(1995-1996)
Was assigned to handle small projects of P&G in Cabuyao, Laguna, Philippines working on its
perfume upgrade unit. Responsible on developing and updating elementary wiring diagram, all
instrument plan involved and additional requisition of Instrument for the upgraded unit. Has also
conducted several site surveys to determine the extent of the upgrade.

Cyclohexane Project, which covers the development of all deliverable construction drawings
such as Control and Communication Philosophy, Location Plans, Wiring diagrams, Loop

Was assigned as Detail Design Checker in Hoechst Celanese Acrylic Monomer Expansion
Project. Works primarily on checking instrument design index, instrument load and wiring
diagrams.
Was assigned in Union Carbide (UC-THAI) Monomer Relocation Project involved in the
development of instrument location plan, instrument design index, load diagrams and instrument
wiring schedule.
Was assigned to Procter and Gamble- Syndet Bar Project as Instrument Designer. As such,
work involve primarily on developing/updating of process and instrument diagrams, developing
I/O list, developing instrument specifications on flow and level instruments as well as reviewing
instrument process diagrams, project design basis and definitions for developing/back checking
logic diagrams. Also work involve preparations of instrument logic diagrams and process and
instrument data sheet for flow and pressure instruments and development of instrument plan
layout. Was assigned at jobsite as part of the commissioning group involves in developing ladder
program.
Was also assigned at the jobsite of Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation STAR Project as
part of the engineering support and construction group. Work involved primarily on the
modification of field installed instruments, cable assignments on junction boxes, instrument loop
diagrams, etc., based on actual installation. Also conduct field supervision, track instrument
material availability for field installation and work on As-built drawings.

Was assigned to Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation STAR Project as Control System
Designer. Worked in the preparation of construction drawings, detailed drawings, detailed
drawings of various engineering layout, instrument wiring connection diagram/cable schedule on
both aboveground and underground, material take-off, etc., Conduct site survey.
Also, was assigned to work with Singapore Aeromatic's Project. Took part on estimating
