El profesor pega cuatro visuales en el pizarrón: (ANEXO 1)
1. Personaje famoso (Michael Jordan)
2. Edificio importante (World Trade Center México)
3. Lugar turístico (Cancún)
4. Plaza Comercial. (Plaza Tezontle)
Los alumnos expresan de forma oral características (adjetivos) de
cada uno de los cuatro elementos: old, rich, famous, modern, etc.
Tiempo estimado 10 minutos.
DESARROLLO Los alumnos responden la pregunta
Who is your favorite singer? In Mexico,
Who is your favorite singer? in the world?
Los alumnos expresarán sus ideas y el profesor pegará dos
pósters, uno de Espinoza Paz y el otro de Justin Bieber. (ANEXO
2)
El profesor escribe ocho adjetivos, cuatro son cortos.
(tall, old, rich, short, thin, fat)
y cuatro son largos
(interesting, intelligent, handsome, famous).
El profesor pregunta a los alumnos usando los adjetivos, por
ejemplo:
Who is more famous?
Who is taller?,etc.
El profesor escribe las respuestas de los estudiantes en el pizarrón:
Espinoza Paz is older than Justin Bieber.
• Espinoza Paz is taller than Justin Bieber.
• Justin Bieber is more famous than Espinoza Paz
• Justin Bieber is more handsome than Espinoza Paz.
Etc.

book starter, página 110 actividad 1C ( Anexo 3)

Siguiente actividad
El alumno realiza un cuadro comparativo con las características
de su pareja ideal y de su personaje famoso que le sea atractivo
o atractiva.
Con base en la información obtenida del cuadro, el alumno realiza
un párrafo breve, en donde compara las características de ambas
personas.

tender
My ideal boy is more handsome and smarter than my famous person
El profesor pide a los alumnos que hagan descripciones usando
otros adjetivos y también estos conectores.

5. SECUENCIA DIDÁCTICA
Segunda sesión.
El profesor hace preguntas relacionadas a lugares que los
estudiantes conocen, posteriormente compara oralmente dos de
ellas por ejemplo Ciudad de México y Ciudad de Veracruz.
Ahora el profesor coloca en el pizarrón las imágenes de dos
ciudades, Nueva York y Paris, pide a los estudiantes que las
comparen con adjetivos cortos y largos (dos de cada uno)
Tiempo estimado10 minutos.
Siguiente actividad
El maestro escribe en el pizarrón “States of Mexico”. Y escribe 4
adjetivos cortos en el lado izquierdo del pizarrón, así como 4
adjetivas largos.
Pregunta a sus estudiantes.
• Which is the biggest state in Mexico? El profesor escribe
la respuesta en el pizarrón, así sucesivamente con los
adjetivos cortos y posteriormente con los adjetivos largos
• which is the most interesting state in Mexico? El escribe
la respuesta en el pizarrón.
Por ejemplo:
What is the richest state in Mexico?
What is the best beach in our
country?
What´s the most delicious food in Mexico?
What´s the most important monument in the history of Mexico?
Y algunas otras más. El profesor monitorea las respuestas de
los estudiantes.
El profesor proporciona a los estudiantes tarjetas en las cuales se
encuentran algunas preguntas que los estudiantes deben
contestar usando superlativos. (ANEXO 4)

El profesor muestra algunas oraciones en la que incluye
Superlativos y el conector “also”, con el fin de que los alumnos
hagan inferencia en el uso.
Por ejemplo:
• Mexico City is the most important city, also the
biggest city in our country.
• The cheetah is the fastest also the thinnest speed y
animal in the world.
El profesor pide a los estudiantes que escriban algunos ejemplos
más en sus cuadernos. (ANEXO 5)

CIERRE El profesor proporciona un texto en el cual los estudiantes
colocan títulos a párrafos. Después corroboran si fueron correctas

colocar los comparativos y superlativos en el lugar correcto.
Además contestan preguntas para revisar su comprensión.

Los estudiantes, con los adjetivos que identificaron, los usan
para realizar un texto breve comparando a las personas que
conocen como sus padres, hermanos, familiares y amigos.
Se les hace notar que deben también emplear los conectores but-
and-also..
