As an EFL teacher trainer at the Centre Régional des Métiers de l’Education et de la
Formation (Teacher Training College) in Inezgane, Morocco, I am delighted to recommend to you
one of our excellent teachers, Salah Eddine El Harch, and to write this letter on his behalf.
Being El Harch’s pre-service trainer in 2005-2006 has allowed me to appreciate him
personally and professionally. In this training year, he took many courses in TEFL mainly, Learning
Theories, Methods & Approaches, Teaching Language Skills, Classroom Management, Testing &
Evaluation, Materials Development & Adaptation, Information & Communication Technology (ICT)
for ELT, and Reflective Teaching & Action Research. Mr. El Harch also undertook six teaching
practices in which he observed different mentors and taught different classes. He demonstrated a
good mastery of the current teaching methodology and class management skills. He has a great
ability to positively interact and work with students in a very relaxing atmosphere.
Mr. Salah Eddine El Harch was a very intelligent and hard-working Trainee. He was able to
exhibit strong work ethic, persistence, and intellectual integrity. Mr. El Harch was one of the most
valuable trainees in our center, and a role model for his classmates. Given his grades at the center,
attendance and class participation, I would rate his academic performance as highly satisfactory.
Last but not least, Mr. El Harch is easygoing and sociable, displays a very positive attitude
and has a pleasant personality.
For all these reasons, I recommend Mr. El Harch for a place in your program with absolute
confidence. He has made me proud and I am sure he will continue to do so as he grows in your
program and beyond.
