Champions medicines use and safety at every contact to ensure medicines are considered during service redesign and taking on new business. Co-authored medicines, prescribing and patient group direction policies with the chief pharmacist that direct the activity over 5,000 staff nation-wide. Responsible for developing and delivering a national medicines safety audit; in 2014 this collected nearly half a million data points and allowed me to benchmark sites, services and regions, and identify medicines safety trends across the organisation.
