MRI Technologist
Perform the full spectrum of radiology procedures, utilizing MRI scanners to obtain MRI/MRA
images on diverse patients (neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric), as well as intra-
operative images on patients undergoing brain surgery. Record/verify medical history and
prepare patients for examinations, thoroughly explaining procedures to ensure patients remain
calm and positioned correctly within scanning devices to achieve optimal patient safety and
imaging quality/accuracy. Interpret physician instructions and select/configure applicable
software and imaging parameters; review and maintain detailed documentation of imaging
session results for physician analysis. Execute machine/testing equipment warm-up,
calibration, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Facilitate comprehensive training for first year MRI students regarding proper equipment
utilization and screening methodology, providing optimal patient care and carrying out
procedures in strict compliance with hospital standards and industry regulations.
• Start and maintain IVs on patients for the administration of contrast media.
• Ensure complete patient safety and confidentiality of medical records at all times.

Operate MRI scanners to produce MRI/MRA images on a diverse patient population,
maintaining adherence to hospital policies and procedures. Utilize power injections and
