How frequently should you
post to Facebook?
It’s probably not as many times as you’d think...
In 2012, Facebook Pages reached ~16% of their
audience organically:
Now most Pages reach under 2% of their fans...

In fact, we’ve found that on Facebook less is
more.
We used to post 4-5 times on Facebook every day:
Posting less drove better results...
Today, we’re reaching more
than 150,000 people per
week on Facebook,
Compared to the 44,000
during most of 2016.
Our average daily
engagement also rose from
~500 per day to more than
1,500 per day.
When we posted 4-5 times
per day, most of our posts
reached under 2,000 people.
Now, we’ve seen huge
increases in the number of
posts that are reaching 5,000
- 20,000 people.
Posting only 1-2 times per day works for a couple
of reasons...
1. It forces us to only share the best of the best
content because we literally have limited space
2. It allows the Facebook algorithm to focus on
delivering one piece of content (vs. multiple) to
our audience
How to tell if your Facebook schedule is working:
How frequently should you
post to Twitter?
This one can get a little confusing...
● 3 times per day (Buffer)
● Minimum of 5 times per day (Constant Contact)
● 5-20 times per day (QuickSprout)
● 6-7 times per day (Mari Smith)
And many more...
So how do you decide what’s right for you?
1. Find out when your followers are online
2. Pick at least 5-10 times and test, test, test...

You should post at most once per day on LinkedIn
