2. SUMMARY OF
THE PROJECT
In all the countries we will travel through, we will find out
and meet people and associations, who try to answer local
health issues and needs, in an innovative way,
We will promote these local initiatives (during and after our
trip).
Long-term help by
- highlighting those actions thanks to
- our website (updated during the trip) and
- articles and conferences once back in France,
- helping creating partnerships between local associations abroad and French partners
(foundations, associations, medias, etc.)
An invitation to open our minds and discuss via our blog the
following topics:
- local medical practices and approaches,
- cultural, geographical, economic and political context, that act upon their implementation

- 2006 – 2009 : Corporate Internal Audit , Sanofi-Aventis : auditing subsidiaries all over the world
- 2009 – 2011 : Consultant Financial Transforming and Outsourcing, Grant Thornton (Rennes, France).
Fluent in English, basic knowledge in German and Spanish.
• Previous experiences
Participation in various projects : scouting for 10 years, humanitarian work in Burkina Faso (1998), pilgrimage
to the Negev desert (2004), camping and walk in Yellowstone national park (2007).

- Diplomas, 2004 : MSc. In European Business, ESCP EAP (European School of Management),
European Stream 3 years, 3 countries, 3 diplomas (Paris – Oxford – Berlin).

Experience in the pharmaceutical industry with audit assignments conducted all around the world in
Sanofi Aventis subsidiaries (interviews, minutes and corporate report writing) (Marie & Pascal).
Experience in the associative world :
-Marie : Member and President of a Student association (3 years): organization of conferences and events.
- Pascal : Member of 2 associations: Secours Catholique (2000-2001) and Conférence St Vincent de Paul
(2009).

7. OBJECTIVES
We have decided to travel one year long and meet local
associations which act to improve health in an original way in
order to :
• highlight alternating medical approaches and report on the local projets through our
website,
• increase our experience of the health sector, that we have gained in our jobs in the
Pharmaceutical Industry,
• meet people of different cultures : the better people know one other, the more they
understand, respect and help each other.
We also want to cycle in South-East Asia and in Southern
Europe in order to :
• discover areas and cultures which have played and still play a major role in the
development of the medical science (greek, arabic and asian medicine),
• open our minds and observe different languages, landscapes, cities, cultures.
One year after our wedding, we wish to take a « year
sabbatical », in order to :
• live our original honey moon, 7
• have a break in our everyday life and job.

8. METHODOLOGY OF THE PROJECT
• Meeting people and organisation working in various fields of the health sector in
France (medicine, pharmaceutical industry, public health) to get a better understanding
