Working as part of a busy team, taking responsibility for several schemes at differing stages and
working with limited supervision. The workload includes Enabling, Civil / Structural, Architectural
and MEFPS works for infrastructure, new car parks, retail areas and condominiums.
Duties:
Complete Pre Contract & Post Contract management from the point of Kick off meeting
Studying the tender documents & BOQ and raising for variations.
Calculating complete Project Quantity Take off and preparing the Contract BOQ comparing
with Tendered BOQ for variations.
Calculate and Cost Planning for Formworks, Concreting, Rebar Cutting list, Structural steel,
Block works, Plastering, Painting, Architectural Works, Mechanical, Electrical Plumbing,
Fire Protection, FDAS & Security System.
Preparation of (CTCs) Cost to Completes and (CVRs) Cost Value Reconciliations for the
completed Projects with monthly updates to check tendered margin vs. target margin %.
Following up with the client business department to receive the advance / progress payments
in time.
Updating Contract Performance Reports (CPRs) monthly for management review.

Identifying, managing and processing of Change Order to Owner and to Sub-contractors.
Dealing with the System of Site Instructions (SI) – Change Request (CR) - Change
Proposal (CP)–CHANGE ORDERs (CO).
Maintaining the Payment Tracking Log for all the variations works / Change Orders
Raising requests /reminders for obtaining Practical Completion Certificates (PCC) or Final
Take over Certificates for Retention amount claims and request for payments
correspondences clients.
Reviewing the material specifications to be within allowable budget prior to material approval
transmittal/ before client approvals.
Timely submission of Interim Payment applications with Valuations Report to Clients and
expedite timely receipt of certificates and payments.
Maintain or obtain site record photographs to support variations, extras or claims.
Keen attention on Escalations, Fixed prices, Payment Claims, Variations, Retentions, Bank
Guarantees, Back Charges, Liquidated Ascertain Damages, etc.
Coordinate with procurement & accounting department for all resemblance of documents such
as LPOs, invoice, Payments, Cheques etc.
To undertake accurate Quantity take offs and Preparing Bills of Quantity from CD to FCD
Drawings for Variations.
Evaluation and Certification of Subcontractor Payments Invoices.
Subcontractor Payment Certification & issuing Interim payment certificates (IPC) by
retaining as per the contract conditions like Advance Payments, retentions, discounts and Tax
Holdings etc.
Preparing the Statement of Final Accounting to Subcontractor considering all the variations.
To manage all contractual matters relating to the Main Contract and Subcontracts and to keep
the
Commercial Manager Review concerning such contractual matters.
To liaise with proposed nominated subcontractors, prepare risk/vendor analysis for
management review based on previous performances.
To reconcile actual bulk material quantities against Tender and Contract documents and
Preparation of Reconciliations for Client vs. Sub-contractor paid quantities, all major Bulk
Materials.
To monitor site expenditure and advice on risk areas or cost over-run items by complete
Forecasting for Preliminary, Manpower, Material, Plant & Machinery Cost.
Obtaining daily reports from site and converting to Weekly/ Monthly progress reports for
management review.
Prepare and maintain budgets, estimates, cash flow forecasts, cost reports.
Resources Cost vs. Value: Labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and any other cost
detail items.
Verify and approve Sub-Contractors measurement sheet.
Sound Knowledge on pre and post contract administration for different contract types
Ensure the submission of insurances/bonds in accordance with the contract
Having professional knowledge and skills in using relevant computer software.
Maintain proper logs for subcontracts; purchase orders, subcontractors and suppliers payment
certificates, prepared/submitted/approved calculation sheets, subcontractors variations etc.
Identify possible areas of dispute among the Contractor and Sub Contractor(s) and take the
necessary proactive measures.
Monitoring of actual material, labor cost spent against forecasted materials and man hour
usages.
