and supporting the preservation of
your personal resources.

for us to go green
is
to stop
Global Warming!

5. "Reduce" means using fewer
resources in the first place.
Reuse. Before you recycle or dispose
off anything, consider whether it has
life left in it. A jam jar can store
leftovers. Food scraps can become
compost. An old shirt can become a
pajama top. An opened envelope can
become a shopping list. A magazine
can be shared.
Recycle.One ton of recycled paper
can save 17 trees

6. Fix water leaksUse efficient
light bulbs
Plant trees
Turn off lights not in use Let nature do the

7. Share rides Use public
transportation
Buy local produce
reuse bags
Choose to walk Compost

8. Switch off your computer and other

ventilation instead of AC.

construction that will affect the environment
