Cartoons,
Peer Interaction, and
Science Learning
This webinar is based on my project in the Designing
Powerful Learning Environments (DPLE) specialism
of HKU’s M. Ed. Program. The project is a capstone
experience, and is intended to integrate learning
across the required modules, and focuses on the
design, implementation, and evaluation of instruction.
My project focused on the use of concept cartoons
and peer interaction to foster conceptual change.
I will describe the problems underlying the project,
how I used conceptual cartoons and peer interaction,
and the findings from a post-use evaluation.
