Dear Perspective Employer:
Angela Malcolm worked for the Law Office of Kamb & Kamb from April 2001 until June 2004.
At all times, Angela was a punctual, conscientious, hardworking employee and very pleasant to
work with both independently and as a team player.
When Angela first came to our office, she primarily had experience as a Paralegal. We, the
office staff quickly learned we could depend on her to do more than that. She quickly learned
about the office procedures as an office manager, including accounts receivable and payable, tax
and payroll preparation. She is very organized and demonstrates a good working knowledge of
our word processing software. She prepares from dictated instructions letters, domestic and
estate planning documents, and various legal documents for the Court. At all times her work is
accurate and very well done. She is considerate with others and always seems to get along with
the attorneys and other employees in the law firm. She is very friendly and considerate when
dealing with clients and making sure the client’s needs were always met. This office has
received numerous compliments from clients regarding Angela’s manner and professionalism
when it came to handling their cases. Her friendly and conscientious nature in this regard is an
asset to our law firm.
Part of Angela’s duties dealt with handling cash deposits. I can state without reservation that
Angela’s honesty is beyond reproach. In a law firm, there is a need that attorney's and their
employees maintain client and personal confidences. There was never an issue in this regard
with Angela. We could always trust her with regard to any work done by our law firm.
Angela has decided to leave our law firm hoping to find a faster paced office setting with
potential advancements. We will all be very sorry to see her go and I am sure that her loss will
be felt immediately. I believe that it will be very difficult for us to find a replacement with
anywhere near the skills Angela possesses. For this reason, I would have no reservation
whatsoever in recommending Angela for a similar position. I am sure she would be equally
competent in other areas as well. I would state to any perspective employer, please do not
hesitate to contact me if you have any questions at all with regard to Angela. I feel you would
be very lucky to have her as an employee and I trust that you will find her to be a very pleasant
person with which to work.
Very Truly Yours,
