Dialysis Technician Riverside and Davita- Performed venipuncture in fistulas to complete dialysis treatments.
Monitored vital signs on patients throughout treatment. Sanitized dialyzers and performed quality control to monitor
bacteria growth. Trained new employees on Hemodialysis function and treatment. Educated patients regarding their
treatment and importance of proper nutrition.
Orthopedic Technician Sentara- Trained nursing students on the set up and use of various types of traction.
Educated patients on the application of apparatus and continued care for their injuries. Administered therapeutic
treatment in recovery rooms from knee surgeries and replacements.
Pulmonary Technician Sentara Norfolk General- Performed arterial blood gases, reported results to nurses and
doctors. Administered respiratory therapy treatments and responded to all codes as well as trauma situations in the
E.R. Performed quality control following OSHA regulations and trained new employees.
