Lets take a look at the importance of CPR AED and first aid training
Fact, more than 2,400,000 die each year from cardiovascular disease.
Studies have shown that for every minute a person is in cardiac arrest, their survivability decreases by 10%. This sobering statistic reinforces the need CPR training and the need for Automated External Defibrillator availability in the workplace.
Having staff trained in CPR, AED use and first aid skills creates a safer work environment. It also helps to reduces liability by preparing for foreseeable risks
As well as providing an Excellent employee benefit, this is one of the best ways to protect your number one asset, your employees
Compliance guidelines require employers to have a comprehensive safety program. New laws in many states now mandate the placement of AEDs in the workplace and also require having staff trained to use them.
Many insurers now require employers to place AED’s in the workplace to help reduce liability exposure by preparing for foreseeable risk.
Depending on the level and type of risk your company has, specialized training may be required.

What features differentiate Emergency First Response.
Our flexible instructional approach options, Independent study, Video guided, or Instructor led provides convenience in meeting scheduling needs and adapting the program to individual learning styles
With our Independent study option, students study the course materials prior to coming to class. Students arrive with a predetermined knowledge base already established. This shortens traditional classroom time as no lecture time is required. This allows for more focused skill development time which leads to better skill retention. Also, shorter class times mean less time away from the job which can help to improve productivity.
Emergency First Response offers a Simplified approach to learning CPR and first aid by distinguishing life threatening from non-life threatening situations
This helps Emergency Responders properly sequence the priorities of patient care and keeps information and skill introduction manageable.
This results in better retention of skills and confidence to act.
Learning takes place in a non-stressful learning environment. Through group practice and repetition of skills students learn to master the skills of patient care.
The Program emphasizes encouragement and positive reinforcement. This helps to put students at ease, creates confidence and eliminates the students fear of doing something wrong.
Courses also tackle the emotional aspects of offering emergency care and encourages action by embracing a philosophy of adequate aid provided is better than perfect aid withheld.
As echoed in our companies slogan Creating Confidence to Care, This learning methodology inspires confidence in the rescuer to provide care when faced with a medical emergency.
The course also includes an optional emergency oxygen use modules and the flexibility to teach CPR, AED and first aid courses separately or together.
Other course options include a separate Care for Children course that teaches specific care techniques to provide CPR, AED and first aid to infants and young children.
