1. Working Title:
Coca Cola ad
What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later
Target Platform:
Radio and Spotify and other places where people listen to music
What media platform/platforms would you release the product on?
Genre:
Radio ad
What sort of a media product is it?
Language / Territories
First to make sure I got the right idea I would release it in England and America and then I would
release it to the world if it worked out and it is not really targeted at a specific audience or
population however it would be made more enjoyable to people who have watched mission
impossible and yet again I believe that it is suitable to all cultures as seem as there is no strong
language or anything of the sort in the advert.
What countries would you release it in? Would it be suitable worldwide or is it targeted at a specific
population? Is it unsuitable for any cultures or beliefs?
Synopsis / Treatment / Story / How the game plays:
The product is about Coca Cola and I believe that this works perfectly to communicate to the
audience I am targeting young males and females who have heard of or seen mission impossible
The main message is that coca cola is great for family meetings or other special occasions for the
younger people in our society
What is your product about? Discuss how it works to communicate a message to the audience?
What is the main message?
One Line SalesPitch:
Coke the taste of life.
Sum up your product in one sentence
Style (similar products and graphical style):
There is a mission impossible ghost protocol advert for coke zero however it is a tv ad (here
is the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xq9b9WmQYyk) it was inspiration for the
music in the background of the ad because I think it worked well in that case .
What product is yours similar to? Why have you used it for inspiration?
Discuss this in relation to conventions and art style
Audience:
The audience I am targeting mainly is the younger generation such as 12-35 years of age and I am
not targeting a specific gender but if I had to say it would probably mainly be for the males who are
students or just working class and there psychographic would probably be geeky or they just watch
a lot of movies. I believe my product would appeal to this sort of person because it has the mission
impossible music in the background and it would also appeal because of the bad voice acting in the
foreground, they would probably see it as something funny.
Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc
Why would your product appeal to this person?
2. Legal & Ethical Considerations:
Think about any offensive material you will include?
Will you restrict younger audiences engaging with it?
Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities?
How will you ensure you do not offend anyone?
Is your product using characters/names/logos of existing ones?
Will your product be sufficiently different from existing ones to not get sued for copyright
infringement and how have you achieved this?
There isn’t any offensive material include in the advert there is no mention of difficult topics or any
bad language.
I believe it is better to include younger audiences in engaging with the advert because I am partially
aiming the advert at some of them.
As I said before there is no mention of difficult topics so there is nothing to offend social groups,
religious people or ethnicities.
There is no bad language so I find it highly doubtful that it would offend anyone.
No we are not using any products even close to other existing adverts.
It is almost completely different to any existing product I have seen and there is definitely no chance
of getting sued for copyright infringement and we have achieved this by trying to distance ourselves
from other adverts products of the sort even if it just slightly different it is on a completely different
format and platform.
