Game football is an entertainment that involves two teams each with eleven players. The
ball used in this kind of game has two appointed end and there are many ways through which
scoring is done, usually one team getting the ball to the opponent’s teams end zone. The game
often last for more than 80-minute. Players defend the player with ball has he or she runs to the
end of the zone. This essay will analyze the creation of the game football.
The game began in the 19th
century as a college football. It was adopted from the rugby
version which has almost similar characteristics as the game football. The game was relatively
new in America in 1892. It stemmed from the rugby and soccer which were already advanced
footballs. Rutgers and Princeton on 1869 played what was conspired the college football
however, it was until 1880s that Walter Camp pioneered the rules that transformed rugby to
game football.
Most athletic clubs in 1890s had football teams and each team stocked their side with
best players available. Awards and trophies were awarded after the game. As a result of the
awards of money, watches, and other goods after footballs, many players were attracted to the

game thus the expansion of the game into what will be called in the modern times, American
football. Some of the teams that sprung as result of the game were the Allegheny in 1890, the
AAA, PAC and Chicago Athletic Association.
In 1920, the America Professional Football was created which changed the league to the
National Football (NFL). Notably, the United States sport of Midwestern industrial town
eventually became a national phenomenon. The current football sprung massively in 1932
playoffs. Other innovation such as AP Poll were introduced in 1934, tapping in the end of
football in 1934 and in 1935 warding of the first Heisman trophy. It was first televised in 1939
and NFL Champion Games was formed in 1958.
The current football strung from rugby game as a college football. Walter Camp
introduced the rules that later defined the game. Most Athletic teams adopted the game in 1890
and as a result of the awards, the game grew in popularity.
