NACO FUNNEL PROJECT & SPECIAL

 Joined with UWM libraries & a few others in the Fall/Winter of
2015 to start a WI NACO funnel project.
 Register with NACO & create a NACO enabled login in OCLC
connexion
 Catalogers received online training in creating name authority
records
 Name authority records are reviewed by experienced UW-
Madison catalogers before being submitted to the OCLC name
authority file.
 Each cataloger is expected to submit an average of 5 authority
records per month
