This NGO, recognized by the Portuguese government and authorized to operate throughout the European Union, Africa and Middle East, has 12 years’ experience in providing healthcare and social services, recruitment, outsourcing and temporary staffing in the areas of medicine, nursing, rehabilitation and disabilities, among others related to health, geriatrics and social services.

FFF Healthcare’s mission is to help institutions and companies to become more
efficient by providing high quality services, flexibility, innovation and value. Our services
are targeted at our client’s needs with an emphasis on ethics and quality of service.
We work with Portuguese health professionals, trained in the best Portuguese and
European schools and universities, with professional experience both in Portugal and
the European Union.
2. ABOUT US
FFF Healthcare is an outsourcing unit of the Portuguese non-profit NGO Traço de
União Group. This NGO, recognized by the Portuguese government and authorized
to operate throughout the European Union, Africa and Middle East, has 12 years’
experience in providing healthcare and social services, recruitment, outsourcing and
temporary staffing in the areas of medicine, nursing, rehabilitation and disabilities,
among others related to health, geriatrics and social services.
In 2008, FFF Portugal was esteemed as the country’s best home healthcare service
according to a study conducted by the Aga Khan/CEDRU/Boston Consulting Group.
In each of our markets we establish a link between the demand for health professionals
in that market and their supply in Portugal. We have a specialized Portuguese team
who selects the best professionals in accordance with market demands.
We are authorized to assign Portuguese professionals, of diverse specialties, to
assignments in foreign countries in order to fulfil staff needs of short, medium or long-
term duration in various areas of our client’s institutions.
We increase client productivity by lowering absenteeism, turning fixed costs into
variable costs and providing quality services at very competitive prices.
Our 12 years of experience providing medical and social services, coupled with
the international recognition of Portuguese health professionals’ qualifications and

According to the specific needs of our clients we offer the following solutions and

We are well aware of the importance of being fluent in a foreign language. As such, all
health professionals recruited or outsourced by FFF Healthcare are fluent in English
and many also speak French fluently. In Portugal, English is compulsory from primary
school and students study it for 7 to 11 years. Most students also study French or
German for several years. When necessary, FFF Healthcare provides English, French,
German and Dutch courses among other languages, according to the country
of destination. Courses range from basic to advanced levels. They are specifically
targeted at health professionals, focusing on their individual needs and duties.

6. CERTIFICATIONS AND SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
The quality management system of the non-profit NGO Traço de União Group,
complies with Portuguese Social Security and ISO 9001:2008 requirements. It is
certified by the Portuguese Social Security (permit no. 12/2009) and is considered a
Charity according to law no. 64/2007 of 14/3 and credential no. 596/12.
Traço de União Group is socially responsible, complying with Standard SA 8000.
It supports two of the largest social projects in Portugal, based on a cooperation
protocol between the charities CERCI Lisbon and APPACDM of Lisbon, which
are non-profit organizations which play a fundamental role in the education and
rehabilitation of people with mental disabilities.
5% of the proceeds from the spa treatments of Espaço Essências – day spa and
therapies (a preventive health project from Traço de União Group) are given to CERCI
Lisbon (www.cercilisboa.org.pt) and APPACDM of Lisbon (http://appacdm-lisboa.pt).
