 Advantages:
The bus is simple ,reliable in small network,
easy to use and understand
Requires the least amount of cable to connect
the computer and less expensive.
Easy to extend the main cable
 Disadvantages:
Heavy network traffic can slow a bus
considerably
Difficult to troubleshoot a bus.

Easy to add /remove workstations by
upgrading hub and can be installed easily
It is easy to troubleshoot and isolate problem
 Disadvantages:
More cabling is requird
The failure of hub will break down the entire
