Its findings are that, in what it terms ‘masters’ of analytics, are not just using analytics to gain a descriptive understanding of past events; they’re also leveraging ‘predictive analytics’ to answer the questions ‘what do we do now?’ and ‘what are the alternatives?’. The article goes on to explain the competitive advantage to be gained from such analytics.
