1. Placement, 30th
September, The Winter Gardens
We got to meet Jennie, a passionate worker at the Winter Gardens and Museum.
On this trip, we got to learn so much about the history of the museum and Sunderland.
Being split into two groups, for the first session we got to explore the art gallery and even produce
our own ideas to help promote the upcoming Halloween event at the galleries.
Doing that for half an hour or so, once the time was up, we then switched with the other group
and played some type of knowledge game in teams. Being handed a clipboard and a different item
per group representing something people in older decades would use, we had to take a guess at
what our object was. A difficult game, but very educational.
