Re : Mr. Ammar Al-Shamma
I am writing this letter to recommend Mr. Ammar Al-Shamma for a position at your
company. I have known Mr. Ammar for about two years as an advisor in the MBA
program. Ammar was enrolled in several of my finance courses that includes Financial
Policy and Planning (MBA 629, International Finance (MBA 774),) and Investment and
Portfolio Management (MB A772). Both these courses require strong quantitative,
analytical, and computing skills. Ammar showed remarkable maturity in both these
courses and did an excellent job of understanding some of the most difficult concepts in
financial management. He always tried to bring in a unique perspective to every
problem that we discussed in class. He was always willing to approach a problem with a
different perspective. His engineering background always helped him approach each
problem with a systems approach. MBA curriculum involves team work and Ammar has
been a team player in all his courses.
Mr. Ammar has been an outstanding student with exceptional academic performance.
While working as a student, he showed that he is a creative thinker and problem solver
who expresses himself exceptionally well in his written and oral presentations.
Mr. Ammar is an intelligent, self-motivated young man. He is very hard working and
shows commitment to his work. He has excellent analytical, and presentation skills. He
is easy to get along with.
I have no doubt that Mr. Ammar Al-Shamma would prove to be an asset to your
organization. Should you require additional information concerning Mr. Ammar, please
do not hesitate to contact me (215) 951-2813 or at MalhotraD@philau.edu.
