Utility Management- Water Meter
Taiwan is an island surrounded by sea, but the fact is we lack of water resources.
It’s challenging to measure and monitor precisely and efficiently the was level
consumption of every household regularly at specific period of time.
The solution not only collects daily readings from water meter, but also send
abnormal warning to the cloud. Water companies can react based on the alert
and arrange staff to do inspections and maintenance.
The data collected can also help the water companies to better allocate water
resources between Agriculture/ Industry/ Household usage.
While digitalisation is the way to go in the future.
During COVID-19 times, IoT can enable real social distancing, households will no
longer accept that utility operators visit them at home after such a crisis

It is challenging to measure and monitor precisely and efficiently the gas
level consumption of every household regularly at specific period of time.
The cost from collecting the data was extremely high (¥10M) and
shortage of manpower is an issue.
While digitalisation is the way to go in the future, it is too costly to replace
existing assets with new digital meters.

Our customer expert in providing beer keg services is struggling keeping tabs
on the whereabouts of its fleet, loses assets and losing money while not
being able to charge its customers properly for the rental of their kegs
(breweries/producers etc).
Solution
A completely customized and autonomous smart tracker that is able to send
messages/alerts at each state of its lifecycle reporting its location along with
several other critical information, with a specific mounting system.
Result
The customer has drastically reduced its fleet loss (almost to 0 now) and has
increased his billings by 20% now being able to charge its clients more
accurately.

Cold chain monitoring
Our customer, one of the leaders in Europe for the rental of refrigerated
furniture, was looking for an all in one easy to use solution that could assist
them with several pain points they had : view over their refrigerators’ fleet,
real time alerts when their fridges would break a threshold (dangerous for
the perishable) or power is cut off.
Solution
An industrial grade (IP55) but affordable Wifi tracker/temperature sensor (via
prob) & CT clamp that install easily within the fridge and reports location, alerts
when outside of temperature range but also when the fridges happen to be
powered off.
Result
Now customer has reduced the loss of its assets by 10-15%, supermarkets'
operation team are able to be alerted close to real time whenever something is
wrong and more importantly before it is too late for the perishable so they can
take swift measures to either change fridges or move the perishable somewhere
else.
