A: ¡Holaaaaaa Dayner!! A los años que te he vuelto a ver… ¿cómo has estado?
B: ¡Hola Johana!! Si tienes razón…no nos vemos desde hace 4 años…casi ni te reconozco.
¿Eres tú?? ¿O con quien estoy hablando? Jajaja…
A: ¡Muy gracioso!!! ¡Yo me veo igual que siempre…Como tú has llegado tarde entonces tu
invitas la cena!!
B: Por supuesto… así no me hubieras dicho yo hubiese invitado. Disculpa la demore hubo
un tráfico terrible pero bueno ya estoy aquí contigo.
A: Wao!! ¡Que caballero!! Tú también has cambiado porque yo no te recordaba así.
B: Si…estos 4 años me han cambiado…. Para bien por supuesto. Aunque no tanto diría yo.
A: Ya he pedido la cena…supongo que te sigue gustando el arroz con pollo porque es eso lo
que pedí para ti y también una botella de vino tinto para la noche.
B: Gracias…si tienes razón me sigue gustando esa comida…mientras esperamos la cena
hablemos un poco acerca de nosotros.
A: Esta bien…. ¿Qué te gustaría saber de mí?
B: Todo de ti…fueron 4 largos años así que dime… ¿Has llegado a estudiar enfermería?
A: Si… yo he estado estudiando esa carrera todo este tiempo. ¿Y qué hay de ti?
B: Bueno…yo también he estado estudiando una carrera universitaria…Ingeniería
mecánica… ¿Recuerdas que te comenté sobre eso cuando estábamos en el colegio?
A: Si…como olvidarlo…siempre decías que querías convertirte en un ingeniero y tener
buenos ingresos.
B: y tu decías que querías ayudar a todos los niños enfermos y mírate pronto lo vas a
conseguir.
A: Si…eso espero… Por cierto, ¿cómo has estado haciendo para tus practicas pre-
profesionales? Yo tengo miedo viajar sola….
B: Si tú quieres yo podría ir contigo…jajaja….
A: No.… no.… lo decía porque cuando yo he hecho mis prácticas he tenido que viajar a otros
lugares.
B: Si yo estoy en la misma situación…Ahora que estamos hablando de viajes… ¿Has viajado
a algún lugar fuera de Chimbote en estos 4 años?
A: Si…yo visité varios lugares en la parte Sur del país…estuve en Ica y visite bastantes
lugares turísticos por esa zona ya ni lo recuerdo… Más adelante podríamos viajar…si deseas
claro jajaja…

2. B: Mi sueño siempre ha sido conocer lugares nuevos…pero tengo un gran problema…no hay
dinero suficiente aun…jajaja… pero en unos años ya estaré en condiciones de viajar...así que
en unos años acepto tu propuesta. Jajaja
A: Te parece si me acompañas de regreso a casa así conversamos mejor por todo el camino
porque ahora la cena ya está llegando.
B: Ya está bien…ya era hora estoy hambriento….

3. INTRODUCCION
Good evening teacher and classmates. My name’s Dayner and I’m the leader of this group.
First of all, let me introduce my classmates, they are Johana, Eulalia, Veronica and Davianno
Today I would like to share our topic called Meeting of friends. Before starting I’m going to
explain what we are going to do in this work. Well It’s based on a conversation of 3 couples,
these couples are going to meet in a restaurant and have a conversation about their life
projects, goals, etc. This work serves as an example to know how to use the present perfect
simple and the present perfect continuous in a conversation. So now we are going to start.
ENGLISH
A: Hello Dayner! Long time no see... how have you been?
B: Hello Johana!! Yeah… You’re right… we haven’t seen each other for almost 4 years… I
hardly recognize you. Are you? Or Who am I talking to?
A: ¡ha, so funny ya!!! ¡ I look the same as always … As you have arrived late, dinner is on
you!
B: Of course not problem… so you wouldn’t have told me I would have invited. By the
way… Sorry for the delay there was a terrible traffic but well I’m already here with you.
A: Wao!! ¡you are a gentleman!! You have changed too, because I didn't remember you like
that.
B: Yes… these 4 years have changed me… for a good of course. Although not so much I
would say.
A: I have already ordered dinner...I guess you still like rice with chicken because that is what
I ordered for you and also a bottle of red wine for us.

I could accept your proposal…hahaha.
