Dear Volunteer:
On behalf of the Province of Ontario, Host Province of the TORONTO 2015 Pan
American/Parapan American Games, we would like to give you our heartfelt thanks for
volunteering for the Games.
Volunteers like you were the ambassadors, backbone and heart of the Games. Because of you,
Ontario experienced a transformative event that will have long-lasting impact on communities
across the province. You can be justifiably proud of the part you played in showcasing the best
of Ontario to the world.
The enclosed certificate recognizes the skills and experience you earned in making the Games
such a resounding success. It is also a testament to your work ethic and your passion for
making the world around you a better place. The skills and training that you gained by
volunteering for these unforgettable Games will help you stand out in today’s job market – and
help make you an invaluable contributor to your community.
We encourage you to continue to seek out opportunities for volunteering. The knowledge and
experience you gained at the Games will be a lasting benefit to you and your province, and will
build on the legacy of hosting the largest multi-sport event in Canada’s history.
