2. WHY
COMMUNU-

When I was in 7th grade, my teacher tasked our
class with writing a poem. My poem ultimately
got published in a national poetry book and
that moment opened doors for me to
experiment with writing and communication.
Once I entered college, I declared my major as
communication with a minor in sociology – a
sweet spot for me since I like to examine norms
and inspire positive change.
