When Mana from the band Malice Mizer preformed in a lolita dress
the popularity grew
Mana created EGL (Elegant Gothic Lolita)

• Bell shaped skirt
• Bloomers
• Socks
• Shoes

Also known as sweet
lolita or OTT sweet lolita
Now the most common
lolita style and definitely
one of the cutest and
most colorful.
Mostly pastel colors and
big prints

7. Classic
lolita
Classic lolita is a
slightly more mature
version of Lolita
Classic lolis tend to
wear darker or more
muted colors
Flowers, cameos and
antique objects are
common themes

8. Gothic lolita
Probably the most used
lolita term
This style incorporates
the darker colors and
themes
Gothic lolita can go from
mostly elegant to very
creepy
