• If the item you want to discuss is too large, too
small, or unavailable, you may be able to work
with a model. One student, a criminal science
major, used a model of a human skull to show
how forensic scientists use bone fragments to
reconstruct crime injuries. Another used a
scaled-down model of a hang glider to
illustrate the equipment and techniques of
hang gliding.
