 Maintenance of calendars, databases, client files, and confidential information.
 Scheduling of trials, settlement conferences, depositions and conference calls.
 Conduct extensive internet research, and electronic filings.
 Organize and coordinate document productions.
 Prepare Indexes of produced documents.
 Prepare documents needed for depositions, witness interviews, etc.
 Organize and index Trial exhibits and other supporting documents (including digital copies, court copies,
witness copies, etc.).
 Experience in New York and New Jersey State, Municipal, and Civil Courts, New York Supreme Court Rules and
New Jersey Rules of the Court as well as Appellate, Supreme and Federal Court procedures.
BANKRUPTCY EXPERIENCE:
 Prepare Chapter 7 and 13 Petitions with appropriate Schedules, Statement of Financial Affairs, and Means Test
for electronic filing.
 Organize client’s debt.
 Advise client of pre and post-bankruptcy Financial Management Courses.
 Manage deadlines such as Post Financial Management Course Certificate, Form B21, Meeting of Creditors, and
filing of creditors’ Proof of Claim.
 Draft pleadings in Adversary Proceedings when necessary.
TRADEMARK EXPERIENCE:
 Prepare proposed Trademark applications by class.
 Research State-by-State use of proposed mark.
 Prepare Declaration of Acquired Distinctiveness when required.
 Experience with United States Patent and Trademark Office website and e-filing.
 Research and prepare use of Collective Membership Mark.
ESTATE ADMINISTRATION EXPERIENCE:
 Assist in preparation of various estate probate pleadings such as Administration, CTA, Substitutionary
Administration, CTA, and Affidavit in Lieu of Administration.
 Draft pleadings associated with contested Wills such as Orders to Show Cause, Judgments admitting Will to
Probate, and granting administration.
 Follow-up and administer post probate documents such as Notice to Next of Kin and Beneficiaries, Proof of
Mailing, prepare application for Employer Identification Number, Affidavits of Domicile
 Advise clients of proper bond security.
 Timely file oppositions, replies, Affidavits, Certifications or discovery demands in connection with Court
appointed and/or case matter deadlines.
 Meet requirements set by The Surrogate, Deputy Clerk in connection with Orders to Show Cause in terms of
service of application, filing of documents and Certifications of Service.
 Acquainted with the procedures, guidelines and fees associated with applications filed in the Probate Courts of
the State of New Jersey.
TAX APPEAL EXPERIENCE:
 Prepare Tax Appeal for County Board.
 Attend Tax Court County Board Hearing and/or prepare correspondence so as to affirm the municipal
assessment without prejudice.
 Follow-up to ascertain Judgment affirming the municipal assessment without prejudice.
 Prepare and timely file Complaint, CIS, and Proof of Service for Tax Court of the State of New Jersey, Tax
Assessor and Borough/Town and/or City Clerk.
