This document discusses QtQuickVCP, an open source framework for creating remote user interfaces for machine tools using QtQuick and Machinekit. QtQuickVCP allows developing virtual control panels on tablets and smartphones that can connect to CNC machines and industrial equipment. It provides QML modules and uses Machinekit's Machinetalk middleware to enable cross-platform communication between the user interface and machine hardware in a distributed system.
