4. I’m going to hold my CRAP until next class,
when you’ve read all the chapters.
For now, though, keep those principles in
mind as we begin our exploration of visual
rhetoric with something I assume you’ll all
be comfortable with: movie posters.
We’re going to start doing two things to
them…

17. A slight shift…
We’re going to engage in your first design task. Or start,
anyway. You’re going to pick a movie poster, take a photo
of your face, and stick yourself in the poster.
I will show you real-time how to do this, but first, a few
examples.

19. For next class, read chapters 4-6 of Robin
Williams’ Non-Designer’s Design Book. There’s
a link to the book in Canvas for you to open.
Design Task 1 is due.
We will also discuss how we’re going to learn
the software for class. It’ll be interesting.
