It is my pleasure to write this letter of recommendation on the behalf of Alexander Chou. This
summer Alexander worked under my supervision as a Medium Voltage Process Engineering Co-op.
Alexander’s responsibilities included collaborating with production to update departmental ISO
procedures, supporting a Six Sigma Lean Tech project on 5S, and design his own 5S project.
Alexander proved in a short time that he has the discipline and flexibility to work in a fast paced
manufacturing environment.
During Alexander’s tenure he quickly proved himself as a valuable member of the engineering team.
He was very focused and thorough when given tasks, and quickly adapted to change. I was especially
impressed with Alexander’s ability to envision the big picture. For this to be Alexander’s first co-op
experience he displayed a great sense of professional maturity. An example of his forward thinking
was his enthusiasm to create a solution for our associates related to the hot and humid environmental
conditions we face in our plant.
I am confident that Alexander would be a valuable asset to any organization. He has the ability to
work independently with minimum direction and collaborate with others. It was a pleasure working
with him this summer and I envision Alexander having a bright future as an engineer. If you would
