we were running over a 1 million dollar a day operation with 4no. Drilling Rigs, 2no. Seismic
projects, 3no. Civils contractors and up to 3000 people in the field.

Block 12A Drilling ESIA study. The block covers an area of approximately 20,522 km2.
ISO 14001 EMS pre-certification audit.
Block 10BA Drilling ESIA study. The block covers an area of approximately 21,114 km2.
Block 13T/10BB 3D-seismic ESIA study. The project covered an area of 8,429 km2.
Kapese Integrated Support Base ESIA study. Tullow occupies 1,289,000 m2 and it includes a
400 man camp and contractor yards. The Kapese base camp serves as the central field control
point until the Operators camp is constructed at the Central Processing Facility location.
Extended Well Testing (EWT) at Ngamia-8 and Amosing-1 ESIA studies. The purpose of the
project was to appraise the hydrocarbon reservoir using the existing wells to obtain more
information on reservoir characteristics. Up to 1,500 bbls of reservoir fluids were flowed per day,
to allow observations to be made of reservoir characteristics during testing. The total project cost
was estimated at USD 17 million.
Best Practicable Environmental Option (BPEO) Study for disposal of Synthetic Based Mud
(SBM) drill cuttings. Tullow Kenya B.V. commissioned a BPEO Study to select an appropriate
technology for management of Synthetic Based Mud (SBM) drill cutting wastes from their future
exploration wells.

alternative economic, environmental, social, and technical models to the
proposed titanium-mining project in Kenya. Client: International Fund for

December 2001 Reviewed Chapter 2 of the Africa Environment Outlook Report. This involved
creating and sourcing graphics, images and illustrations that would be
relevant for the report. The purpose of Chapter 2 was to present an
