2. Process
• I felt like this was a suitable
background for my style of
business card. The main reason
why I wanted two colours that
blended into each other is
because it makes the product look
cool and snazzy. This attracts the
eyes of many and makes them
intrigued by the colours.
• I used the blender tool to make
this background and this makes
the two colours you choose softly
blend into each other, the two
colours I chose worked perfectly.
3. Process
• I then felt that I needed to add a good
looking name to the card with a slogan.
This makes the card look a lot more
professional, I grabbed a picture of a drone
of the internet to symbolise what the
whole card is about and this makes the
card look very good. The colours of the
writing as well stand out good from the
yellowy orange.
• The tools I used to put all these sections in
place was text and saved images. This was
much easier than trying to design one
myself, this therefore saves lots of time.
• The black symbol also stands out with the
dark yellow in the background, this makes
the card look more attractive. The colour
of the writing though could be a tiny bit
brighter only because so people can see
the words and read what is on the card.
4. Process
• I then added some images that the drone
could take, this gives the customers a better
insight to what the business is about, this
also makes it look more professional and
unique. I also added in a picture of 3D
modelling. This 3D modelling is
revolutionary in the drone industry and the
picture doesn’t quite show that but it gives
a brief overview what it can do.
• The tools I used to create the effect around
the pictures was smudge. This smudge tool
helped me to blend the edges of the
pictures into the background. This made the
business card more fluent and realistic. The
colours of the picture also stand out
because this is the main point I want people
to look at because them pictures represent
what the business does. This is a selling
point towards people. And other business. I
added four pictures to also generate
attractiveness because the more pictures
that are there the more times people are
going to view that area on the card.
5. Process
• The final stage of my production was
putting down some contact information. I
choose to chose the bottom left for my
location. This is mainly because it is out
of the way but people read from top to
bottom so they are going to see the
contact details last meaning that that
information is in there head longer and
therefor have a higher chance of calling
up. I chose white as my colour for the
font this is because it is the perfect colour
to contrast black so it stands out the
most.
• The tools I used to put these in place
where text and saved images. Saved
images because I got the corresponding
images to the phone or email. This also
gives a better and clear view what each
of the contact details are.
6. Process
• This is my final stage where I have come up
with a design to fold the card. The plan is to
only show the name of the business and the
logo with the information at the bottom
then when you open up the card you can
see the pictures and more written
information, this gives the card a good
unique style that will attract people and
surprise them for what is there.
• The tools I used to create this was the line
tool which I carefully measure so they are
symmetrical this makes the folds more
accurate and precise, this increasing the
detailed look of the business card. Hopefully
the fold marks will work and hopefully will
increase the creativity it has.
• What I did to make sure that the fold marks
where in the correct place was measuring
on one side of the card to then measuring
on the other seeing if the fold marks folded
over anything, luckily they didn’t so I carried
on with the idea and double checked every
thing was correct. I also added the logo in
the bottom left corner just to also give an
extra symbolisation of the company.
7. Process
This was going to be my second design as
you can see the background colours are
different, these two colours make the card
look brighter which might attract more
people to look at it but I find that it lacks in
creativity unlike my other business card
design. This card design does not have any
pictures in it so it is a bit bland like I said in
design but I do like the colours.
I have used the same tools in this card like
the others I have created. This makes it much
easier to design the background. There is no
fold marks on this one which I feel is best
due to the design and shape of the card.
The information logos are bigger unlike my
first design. This is important because people
who struggle to see wont have that issue
with this card.
