This the Final Project for my class ADV 420: New Media's Drivers License. It is a campaign idea for GNC, #WakeUpAndRun. The campaign is designed to encourage GNC's target consumer to become more active and healthy then they already are.

500$ a day for 3 months.
Social Media Promoted Posts on Facebook and
Twitter: 30,000$
Booths and Flyers around scheduled runs such as
marathons: 15,000$
Advertising on Radio : 10,000$
5. Google AdWords
We will use Google Adwords to help get the word out
about #WakeUpAndRun
Mock Google AdWords Advertisement:
Keywords we will target on Google AdWords
Run, Marathons, Vitamins, GNC, Health, 5K Runs, Running
Shoes, Health Supplements, Live Well, etc.
7. GNC’s Twitter Page
During the Campaign GNC’s Twitter Page will be
used to promote #WakeUpAndRun.
3 Times a Day: This way people will not be annoyed
by constant posts about the campaign on their social
media news feeds.
Some Tweets will be Promoted to make it possible
for people who are not following GNC to see posts.
8. #WakeUpAndRun Blog
GNC will start a public #WakeUpAndRun Blog.
People will have the opportunity to share stories
about their #WakeUpAndRun experience.
People will become more Emotionally Involved
This is because people will be able to see others post on the
blog as well and will be given the opportunity to see how the
campaign is effecting everyone
9. #WakeUpAndRun Instagram Promotion
#WakeUpAndRun’s Instagram promotion will be
advertised across all platforms of the campaign.
Followers of #WakeUpAndRun can post artsy photos
on their Instagram accounts of the them taking part
in the campaign and running before their day starts.
Our favorite photos, and the top 25 pictures with the
most likes will receive prizes such as GNC products,
and GNC store credit!
10. Expected Goals
75% increase in the amount of times that people
mention GNC in their social media posts.
50% increase in online traffic to GNC’s website.
Increase in sales of GNC products such as vitamins,
health supplements, diet products, etc.
Many stories being submitted on our blog telling us
how #WakeUpAndRun had positively affected their
life.
