Student Testimonials
The MSc in GFIS gave me the skills and knowledge to succeed in a multinational financial services organisation. The range of modules incorporated in the
course enabled me to gain a better understanding of the various facets of a global financial organisation, from risk management to financial analysis and
interpretation using software. In addition to the financial aspect of the course, there is a great emphasis on technological advancement. During the course,
we were exposed to “Big Data” which is at the cutting edge of how organisations gain competitive advantage. Using tools such SAP we were enabled to
discover on a practical level, how organisations analyse data and transform it into meaningful information for decision-making. The practical nature of this
course is particularly helpful. Through the internship, I was able to secure full time employment in a multinational financial organisation. The MSc in GFIS
has created opportunities for me that would not have possible otherwise. Ms. Emer Curtis, MSc in GFIS Graduate 2012-2013: Technology
