Ms. Millan was an employee of Douglas Gardens CMHC from 2008 to 2012. During that time
she had the opportunity to move through several positions in various departments of our facility.
She started as a Receptionist and prior to leaving was an HIM Clerk. She is a dedicated,
hardworking individual. She also is very punctual and had an excellent attendance record. Her
customer service skills are excellent which is sometimes hard to come by with the amount of
consumers that we attend to on a daily basis. Although her duties changed from time to time here
are the most relevant ones.
 Oversaw the maintenance of the principle waiting area
 Used tact, courtesy and basic reception techniques in greeting consumers
 Upon check-in, reviewed and updated consumer information
 Scheduled consumer appointments for three doctors
 Collected fees and wrote receipts for monies collected
 Called consumers to remind them of upcoming appointments
 Processed all incoming mail / packages and redirected accordingly
 Answered incoming calls and transferred to the proper extensions
 Served as the point person for DGMHC staff to notify of comings and goings of
consumers
 Paged clinical staff on request
 Responsible for the making of new charts
 Aided medical record staff with rebuilding readmission charts
 Responsible for the Center’s shredding
 Attended all staff meetings
 Maintained the form room up to date with current forms, responsible for all the copies of
the room
