Four little corners
1. Little squares are playing with his
friends.
Ring Ring! It’s time to go into the
house, but Little squares can’t get in. ,
they’re not round like the door.
2. Little squares are sad, they really
want to go into the house.
So they stretch, twist and fold their
selves up. But they can’t get through
the door.
3. “You have to make yourself round!”
Little circles say.
“I’m round, I’m round, I’m round!” Little
squares chant. But it’s not use.
4. “What can we do? Little squares are different.
They’ll never be round.
We’ll just have to cut your corners off” the
Little circles say.
“Oh, no!” said Little squares “that would hurt
too much!
5. The Little circles all go into the living room. They
talked for a long, long time. Until they realice that
are not Little squares who have to change their
shape.
“It’s the door” they said.
So they cut out four Little corners. So that Little
squares can finally get into the house and join their
friends the Little circles.
