“I won’t do it, go ahead – try and see if

“Why should I ever do what you say? I
know what’s best for myself so stay out of
my life!”
“You have no right to stop me from
doing, wearing or getting anything that I
want!”
9. And lower unto them the wing of
submission and humility through mercy…
(Qur’an 17: 24)
10. “Why don’t you just go away?”
“Please try to make things easy
for me – I’ve got a lot going on in
my life already!”
“I wish I didn’t have parents like
you at all!”
11. …and say: "My Lord! Bestow on them
Your Mercy as they did bring me up
when I was small."
(Qur’an 17: 24)
12. And We have enjoined on man (to be dutiful and
good) to his parents. His mother bore him in weakness
and hardship upon weakness and hardship, and his
weaning is in two years give thanks to Me and to your
parents, unto Me is the final destination.
(Qur’an 31: 14)
13. And We have enjoined on man to be dutiful and
kind to his parents. His mother bears him with
hardship and she brings him forth with hardship,
and the bearing of him, and the weaning of him is
thirty months…
(Qur’an 46: 15)
14. Narrated Abu Hurairah:
Allah's Messengerpbuh
said: ‘Let him be humbled into dust! Let him
be humbled into dust!’
It was said: ‘O Allah's Messengerpbuh
who is he?’
He said: ‘He who sees either of his parents during their old age or
he sees both of them, but he does not enter Paradise (through his
deeds of service towards them)!’
