Introduction
 Ola Cabs is an online cab aggregator based in Bengaluru and
among the fastest growing taxi hiring firms. Taxi booking facility
can be availed through app, website or through calls.
 Founded on 3 December 2010 by Bhavish Aggarwal (CEO) and
Ankit Bhati.
Objective Of The Study
The objective of the study is to see:
 To see that how much people are interested in cab booking and
how much satisfaction they are gaining from it.
 To see how Ola is contributing in Indian economy.
Research Methodology
All the data has been collected by the primary and
secondary sources like:
1. Questionnaire (45 Respondents)
2. OLAApp Reviews
History
 By 2014, the company has expanded to a network of more than
18000 cars across more than 65 cities. In November 2014, Ola
expanded to incorporate autos on-trial basis in Bengaluru.
 Post the trial phase, Ola Auto expanded to other cities
like Delhi, Pune and Chennai starting December 2014.
 In April 2015, over 40,000 cabs are registered & successfully
running across 22 cities of India.

 Objectives : To bring convenience, price transparency &
standardization to consumers booking car rentals & cab services.
 Targets : Customers who are in need of cabs instantly.
Types of Ola
Cabs
SERVICES
 Ola provides different types of cab service ranging from economic
to luxury travel . The cabs are reserved through a web browser or a
mobile app.
 This cab service supports both cash and cashless payment options
with Ola money.
 It claims to clock an average of more than 150,000 bookings
per day and commands 60 percent of the market share in
India.
 Option of Call Police and Alert Contacts was there in the App for
Security basis.
Description of the App
 Ola cabs app offers City Taxi rides on a point to point basis across several cities in India.
We are changing the way you move around in your city with a range of cab options to
choose from - Sedan, Mini and Prime! How the Ola Cabs app works is really simple:
 1. Set your pickup location (Eg: from Airport, Railway station, Office, Home or your
current location)
2. Pick the cab you want and see all available cabs close by
3. Tap "Ride now" to book your ride
4. Get instant confirmation with driver details
5. See your ride en-route on the map
6. Pay only after completion of your ride or use "Ola Money" to ride cash-free!
 You want to schedule a pickup for sometime later to catch a flight or train? Just use "Ride
later" and plan ahead. You can also invite friends to use our awesome service and earn
free Ola Money.
 Ola drivers are professionally trained and the cabs have gone through stringent quality
checks.

of the age between 26
to 35 years uses Ola
services for their
travelling. And we can
also see that only 4%
people of the age
group of 55 years and
above uses the Ola i.e.

can see that people of
Agra are not sure about
Ola Cabs as only 14 out
of 45 said yes they
prefer ola cabs over
auto-rickshaws and
about 15 people said
that they prefer local
means of transport over
Ola and about 16
people said their means

can see that only 18
people out of 45 uses
Ola frequently while 15
people says that they
prefer local transports
and about 13 says that
they do use Ola cabs
but only for longer
distance.

prefer Mini as compare to
other types of Ola cabs
as its fair is comparatively
less and can be booked
for later use too. 27%
people prefer Micro as it
is cheaper among all the
Ola cabs. Only 2%
people prefer Ola Rentals
as they don’t want to
drive themselves.
6. Does your OLA arrive on time?
From the graph, we
can say that most of
the people agree that
YES Ola arrive on
time they booked for
while 4% says that
Ola did not arrive on
time due to their pick-
up location issues.
7. Do you think OLA services are worth
paying?
From this graph, we can say that
most of the people i.e. 47%
people think that Ola services are
not worth paying as they charge a
lot. About 31% says that it is
worth paying as they can travel
without any tensions in day and
night. 22% people say that
sometimes it is worth paying i.e.
when they apply advertisements
coupons by Ola to adjust their
fair.
8. How do you rate the services of OLA?
From this graph we can
say that, 38% love the
services provided by Ola
i.e. they provided 5 star
rating while 22% people
say that Ola should
increase the no. of cabs
in Agra but a good
number and 13% people
are not satisfied by the
Ola fair and gave 2 star
rating.
Conclusion
 From the study, we get to know that people are aware of the
cab services and they are interested in using these services for
their benefit.
 We get to know that cab services are contributing a lot in the
economy.
 We get to know that ola services are enjoyed by the people.

  • 3. Introduction  Ola Cabs is an online cab aggregator based in Bengaluru and among the fastest growing taxi hiring firms. Taxi booking facility can be availed through app, website or through calls.  Founded on 3 December 2010 by Bhavish Aggarwal (CEO) and Ankit Bhati.

In November 2014, Ola expanded to incorporate autos on-trial basis in Bengaluru.  Post the trial phase, Ola Auto expanded to other cities like Delhi, Pune and Chennai starting December 2014.  In April 2015, over 40,000 cabs are registered & successfully running across 22 cities of India.

From this graph we can see that; 42% people prefer Mini as compare to other types of Ola cabs as its fair is comparatively less and can be booked for later use too. 27% people prefer Micro as it is cheaper among all the Ola cabs. Only 2% people prefer Ola Rentals as they don’t want to drive themselves.
  • 29. 6. Does your OLA arrive on time? From the graph, we can say that most of the people agree that YES Ola arrive on time they booked for while 4% says that Ola did not arrive on time due to their pick- up location issues.

About 31% says that it is worth paying as they can travel without any tensions in day and night. 22% people say that sometimes it is worth paying i.e. when they apply advertisements coupons by Ola to adjust their fair.

From this graph we can say that, 38% love the services provided by Ola i.e. they provided 5 star rating while 22% people say that Ola should increase the no. of cabs in Agra but a good number and 13% people are not satisfied by the Ola fair and gave 2 star rating.
