•There are many important rivers in Indian
subcontinent some of them are :-
•Brahmaputra
•Indus
•Ganga
•Yamuna
•The Brahmaputra also called as
Tsangpo is a trans boundary
river and also one of the major
rivers in Asia .
•Indus is a major river which
flows through Pakistan . It also
courses through western Tibet
and northern India .
The river Ganga perhaps is the
holiest river in India River .
Ganga has 140 species of fish
and 90 species of amphibian
dolphins .
•According to Indian Mythology
river Yamuna is the daughter of
The Sun God (Surya) and sister
of The God Of Death (Yamm) .
•The Indus River, also called the
Sindh River, has a total lengthū
of 3,180 km which makes it one
of longest rivers in Asia. It flows
through Pakistan, the Indian
state of Jammu and Kashmir
and western Tibet .

•The Indus River is a major south-
flowing river in South Asia and is
the locus of some of the earliest
known human civilizations . The
Indus River supplies essential
ingredients for human life for many
urban areas including the Pakistani
cities.
• During the reign there
was no slavery and
everybody had a work
to do .
• But in the earlier age
there were less
medium of
transportation and
trading .
• In today’s age there
are less chances of
getting a profitable
work for that reason
there is poority in the
world .
• There is a benefit In
today’s age that there
are different was of
transportation and
• The Mesopatanium
model or irrigated
agriculture was
used to take
advantage of the
fertile grounds
along the Indus
River.
• Earthen walls were
built to control the
river’s annual
flooding . Crops
grown included
• Today we are having
advance technology
for irrigating the fields.
• Boundaries are made
to protect the crops
and not let them
damage by wild
animals.
• The cities of Indus
Civilization were built
of baked bricks of
equal size . The streets
were equal angled
and had a elaborate
drainage system.
• Production of several
metals like copper ,
bronze , lead and tin .
The discovery of kilns
were first made by
them .
• In today’s age the
buildings are
organized according
to the population.
• Today there are more
minerals and more
equipments for finding
them.
• There are concerns that extensive
deforestation, industrial pollution and global
warming are affecting the vegetation and
wildlife of the Indus delta, while affecting
agricultural production as well. There are
also concerns that the Indus river may be
shifting its course westwards – although the
progression spans centuries.
By this presentation we get aware of
the present scenario of the Indus
river and it shows that we have not
taken any care of it. So now we
should determine that we have to
make it as green as it was so we can
live a thousand years and increase
the deadline of the extinction of
mankind
