exports to France its model for

The company estimates sales of one million euros in 2012 from the French

Belote and Tarot, the card games with the most in France, are launched
simultaneously on the website Mundijeux.fr and Facebook
Barcelona, 20 March 2012 – Akamon Entertainment Ltd., the international online
social gaming company specialising in traditional games, with more than 5.5 million
users, expands into France with the launch of the website Mundijeux.fr and the games
Belote and Tarot on Facebook.
Akamon expects to lead the French market for online games, in which there are an
estimated 24 million active players, and to achieve revenues of one million euros in
2012 – approximately 11% of its total turnover, estimated at nine million for the year
globally.
To achieve this objective, Akamon has incorporated the card games Belote and Tarot,
which have the most followers in France, to its games portfolio – both on the website
and Facebook. In the words of Vicenç Martí, CEO of the company: ‘As experts in local
traditional games, creating the best gaming experience with Belote and Tarot was an
essential prerequisite to entering France, as is developing the best version of Coinche
over the next few months. This is a version of Belote that is also widely enjoyed by
French players.’
Akamon’s move into France marks the beginning of the company’s expansion across
the south of Europe, where it is the leading brand in Spain with Mundijuegos.com. In
the next few months, the company plans to continue this expansion and enter the
Italian market. Akamon is also in the process of expanding across Latin America.
Already in Brazil with Ludijogos.com, the company will shortly move into Argentina
and Mexico.

2. Akamon’s portfolio consists of 29 traditional local casino-based social games, such as
Belote, Tarot, Ruleta, Parchís, Poker and Dominó. All the games incorporate social
features and give players the opportunity to be part of a global gaming community
where they are online together and share their gaming experience, whether it be via
Akamon’s international portals, those of its partners or Facebook. Currently, eight of
the games, including Belote and Tarot, are on Facebook and the company is working to
introduce three new games onto the social network each month, with the goal of
broadening the gaming community and so offer an even better online social
experience.
