DATA Security
• Data Security is about to keeping our data safe from accidental or malicious damage. • The responsibility to protect the data from theft, breach of confidentiality, premature and other unauthorized release. • Data can be lost in various ways such as viruses, user errors, computer crashes, hacking, etc. To protect data loss controls need to put in place. • Some virus will stole your data. A virus is a self replicating program that spreads by inserting copies of itself into other executable code or documents. Introduction

Data Encryption • Encryption is a great data management tool for secure the data and transmission of files and encryption. • It means of scrambling data so that it can only be read by the person holding the encryption ”key”. The key is a secret code that only authorized user share.
How to keep protect Data • Establish strong passwords • Put up a strong firewall • Install antivirus protection • Update your programs regularly • Backup regularly • Careful about e-mail, IM and surfing the web.
